Course Content

This NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading is perfect for anyone that is looking to move up in their career to a more senior role. The course teaches management skills that are needed to progress into higher roles in any industry and can be completed online at your own pace.

This course is delivered on-line through a distant learning package. You will be supplied with 2 NCFE workbook that you will use as reading tools and to complete the activities that are set out for you. These activities are all relative to working in a team and are useful ways to demonstrate that you can apply the knowledge learnt through to unit completion. When you have completed the reading and activities in the workbook for a complete unit you should attempt and complete the assessment booklets.

This qualification requires you to complete the 8 units that are identified in the structure of the qualification. Assessment booklets are produced for each unit and you will need to complete all of the criteria within the booklets. Remember that your assessment answers should be written in your own words, you should not copy answers directly from the answer book or internet. If you are using information from other sources then this will need to be referenced within the work. Your tutor will give you tips on this if you are unfamiliar with referencing. Where possible give practical examples to back support your work.

Once you have enrolled onto the course you will be allocated a tutor who will contact you directly. Through the course you will be allocated ½ hour tutorial per unit and this will be scheduled in with your tutor, these will take place over Microsoft teams. Within these session you can discuss with your tutor any issues and problems you are having with the specified unit for that identified tutorial. Your tutor will work with you throughout the course and will support you through to completion. The most important tool that all of our students have at their disposal is their tutor. When studying for a course with us you are assigned a personal tutor with in-depth knowledge and experience in your chosen subject.

The total guided learning hours for this course is 195 hours we suggest that if you study for 10 hours a week over 20 weeks then you will complete the course successfully within that timeframe.
