Employer Skills Forum
We Care
About supporting the future ambitions of our students
We Collaborate
We ensure our programmes are industry ready.
We Champion
Diversity, Inclusion and Opportunity for all.
We Challenge
We consistently challenge ourselves to improve our offer and services.
Our Employer Skills Forums act as Industry Advisory Boards, bringing employers and curriculum leaders together to shape what we teach and how we deliver it.
These forums are not symbolic. They are working groups that directly influence curriculum design, student progression, and how well we respond to industry change. Their role is to make sure Stanmore College stays aligned with real workforce needs across sectors and age groups.
What the Forums Do
Members of the Employer Skills Forums:
- Advise, challenge and inform curriculum leaders as part of the College’s business planning cycle
- Strengthen our position in specialist areas through their professional expertise
- Build two way relationships between the College, employers, industry and government
- Act as ambassadors for the College regionally and nationally
- Identify gaps in local skills provision and emerging workforce needs
- Provide insight into the changing local and strategic landscape to guide future planning

The result is simple. A curriculum shaped by employers, informed by local demand, and focused on preparing students for real progression into work.
If you want to influence the skills pipeline, shape curriculum decisions and have a direct impact on future talent, we want to hear from you.
