Early Years students visit the theatre

On 21st September, 25 students and 4 staff from the Early Years Department went to the theatre to see The Lion King. Some of the students had never been to see a show before and all enjoyed the experience.

Learners commented on the music, cultural dance, the use of the props to replicate animals through dance moves. Students discussed how it linked to promoting awareness of cultural diversity and inclusive practice.

Students will be using the experience to develop resources for planning activities for children in the settings they work in.

Students were all level 3 students on Technical Diploma and T levels
