Why you should study T levels after GCSEs

The ‘Next Level Qualification’ is coming to Stanmore College in September 2021. Students can study T-Levels after GCSEs and this is equivalent to studying three A levels. They provide high-quality technical alternative to academic exams. T levels suit students who enjoy combining classroom work and work placed learning. These two-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and business to bring classroom learning and and longer industry placement together. This means you will finish with a qualification and a lot of work experience under your belt and if you’ve impressed your bosses at your placement you may even have your first official job lined up!

Your T level will also be worth UCAS points and will be recognised by universities and other education providers so you can choose to continue studying if you wish. In these uncertain times T levels are a great option for your next step.

Stanmore College will be offering T levels in the following areas from this September:

T level in Health & Science T level in Education and Childcare

and from September 2022 there will be a T level in Digital Media. We do currently offer level 3 media study programmes if you are finishing your GCSEs this year.

You can check out T levels on our website or simply Apply online.
