Careers advice – getting you there remotely!
Stanmore College is keen to ensure that students plan and achieve support towards progression whether that be within the College, to university, an apprenticeship or employment.
We have been working closely with the London Enterprise Adviser Network to plan and deliver remote sessions to students on useful skills such as CV writing, interview skills, what employers want, student loans, apprenticeships, university applications and applying for jobs.
A big thank you to external speaker, Bradley Davis of Education Development Trust, for delivering a remote talk and presentation to students on Friday, 29th January. The students were very impressed by Bradley and the information shared. We are also grateful to him for putting together a concise and informative video especially for the College on apprenticeship, the types of apprenticeships and how to apply.
Students have also been sent links to Virtual Careers Fairs organised by the National Careers Service and links to remote exhibition days.
