Course Content
AAT Accounting qualification is an internationally recognised professional accounting qualification based on practical, real-life knowledge that can be put to use from day one.
Organisations such as Vodafone, the NHS, the Metropolitan Police, Ministry of Defence, British Airways, KPMG and may more continue to hire AAT qualified members for their knowledge, skills, diligence and enthusiasm, because AAT represents the highest standards of professionalism.
AAT is a professional membership body, which awards skills-based accountancy and finance qualifications. AAT work across the globe with around 125,000 members in more than 90 countries. Its members are represented at every level of the finance and accounting world, including students, people already working in accountancy and self-employed business owners.

Course Outcomes
Course objectives: Level 2 covers a range of basic accounting practices and techniques from bookkeeping, costing to using accounting software. You will also develop communication and IT skills needed to work in Accounting and Finance.
It is ideal if you are new to working in finance or you are looking to expand and develop your foundation knowledge and skills needed to progress either to employment or to further study.
Progression
This Level 2 qualification provides opportunities to progress to the Level 3 AAT qualification.
Employment opportunities: Completion of Level 2 can assist someone with internal progression if they currently work in accountancy or other financial services firms.

Entry Requirements
You do not need any formal qualifications to begin studying for the AAT qualification.
You will need to have good numeric skills and be able to complete exams and written projects in English.
Assessment
You will be assessed through formal online tests which are set by AAT at the centre.
Equipment
You will need to have a valid AAT registration for the duration of the course.
At enrolment students are required to pay AAT registration costs for new membership - £138
Existing members are responsible for renewing their registration themselves.
Students can choose either two evenings, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 8:30pm or Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
