These courses will help to increase your independence, as well as develop the language skills you need for everyday life, employment and further studies. You will have exams and gain a recognised qualification from the English Speaking Board (ESB). These courses are offered at various times and days starting in September. Details of fees for individual courses are listed in the course fees section of the guide and these cover tuition and exams (if applicable). If you qualify for concessions, this will be established when you enrol onto your course at the college. We accept: •Cash •Cheques •All major credit and debit cards •Direct debits (if the course is more than £300). PAYING BY DIRECT DEBIT Payment is normally made in one lump sum, however, for courses in excess of £300 payment can be made by a maximum of five equal instalments (depending on which course you are undertaking). We can make this service available for students who have a UK bank account and payments are usually collected, as agreed, when you sign up to this service. However, any additional charges outside of tuition fees must be paid at enrolment in addition to the first instalment. The further four payments can be made monthly by direct debit. Please contact reception on 020 8420 7700 to make an appointment with an advisor, to discuss access to this support. LEVEL 2 FEES EXPLAINED: Concession fee applies: •If you are 19 – 23 and studying for your first full level 2 qualification on applicable courses •If you are aged 19 or over, unemployed and in receipt of JSA or any income related benefit and looking for work (you will need to bring documentary evidence not more than 3 months old) •If you are studying GCSE maths and/ or English and do not already have a grade 4/C or above •If you are an overseas student different fees apply - please enquire. LEVEL 3 FEES EXPLAINED: •No fee applies if you are aged 19 plus and studying for a first full level 3 qualification on applicable courses. •All students aged 19 or over pay the full fee but student loans are available. REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY Refunds: where the College receives written notice up to 10 days before a course has commenced that a student wishes to withdraw, an administrative charge of £65 will be deducted from the refunded amount. Where the learner provides notice to withdrawal for any course less than 6 weeks in length – no refund is available, unless the course is cancelled by the College.Where the learner provides notice to withdrawal for any course greater than 6 weeks in length – a refund will only be given to a maximum of 40% of the course fees. Where a learner withdraws from their course after 12 weeks from the commencement of the course, no refund will be available. The Deputy Principal of Finance & Planning will determine any discretionary refund for extenuating circumstances. Cancellations: the College has the right to cancel a course or individual classes at any time. Every effort will be made to contact you in such an event. Where a course is cancelled by the College, course fees will be refunded in full.Next >
