It also gives you essential information should you decide to progress an application for an Advanced Learner Loan (ALL) through the Student Loans Company (SLC) to pay for your course fees. You can pay us directly for the course or your employer may be willing to contribute. Alternatively, you may wish to consider an Advanced Learner Loan. These government-backed loans are av ailable to help learners aged 19 and over pay their fees for eligible courses at Levels 3 to 6. You may be entitled to full funding of your courses if you hav e not already achieved a full level 3 qualification. This may mean that you do not require an Advanc ed Learner Loan, if you think that this may be the case, pleas e discuss your situation with us before applying for an Advanced Lear ning Loan. You can apply for an Advanced Learning Loan online at GOV.UK. https://www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan 2. You must make sure you provide complete and correct informati on when you take out the loan and you must tell the SLC about any changes to these details or your circumstances during the appl ication process, while you are studying with us, and until you’ve repaid your loan in full. 3. The maximum loan amount you can apply for is either the fee we charge, or the maximum amount set by the government, whichever is the lower. You can review the qualifications which are eligible to be funded with loans, and the maximum amount of loan available at https://www.qualifications.education.gov.uk 4. The government maximum loan amount for this course is <insert amount>. The course costs may be more than the maximum loan amount, in which case you will need to pay the difference directly to us. 5.The minimum Loan amount you can apply for is £300. The SLC will process your application and will write to you confirming the outcome of your application. 6.The Student Loans Company (SLC) http://www .slc.co.uk/ will process your application and write to you t o confirm if your application has been successful. 7.The SLC will pay the Loan directly to your college or other training organisation. 8.Y ou will need to notify the SLC of any changes to your course, or if you leave the course early. 9. You begin to repay the Loan through the tax system when you comp lete the course and earn more than the repayment threshold. If you apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to study a course with us, you will need to provide information about yourself, us, as your chosen training provider, and your course fees. As long as you are: -Aged 19 or older on the first day of your course -Studying a level 3 or 4 qualification. Your nationality or residency status In most cases, all of the following must apply. You must: -be living in the UK on the first day of your course -be UK or Irish national or have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme or indefinite leave to remain so there are no restrictions on how long you can stay -have been living in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man for 3 years before starting your course. Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks. When you start repaying -You’ll only repay when your income is over £524 a week, £2,274 a month or £27,295 a year (before tax and other deductions). -You’ll only pay back 9% of any income above the amounts mentioned. STEP 1: Choose your course (remember loans only apply to study at levels 3 and 4 and to those who are 19 and above at the start of the course). STEP 2: Following interview and assessment to enable us to help you make the right choice, you will receive an offer letter from the College. STEP 3: Use the information on your offer letter to apply for a student loan via www. gov.uk/advanced-learning-loans. It can take up to five working days to process an application (or 2 to 4 weeks if you apply by post). STEP 4: Once your loan has been granted, bring a copy of the loan agreement / confir- mation to the College to complete your enrolment on the course.BUSES: The following buses stop near the main College site: 142, 340, 324, H12. LONDON UNDERGROUND: The Jubilee line (Stanmore Station) is only 12 minutes’ walk from the main College site.
