Stanmore College donates PPE and refreshments to Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital

Supporting our hospitals has always been important and never more so throughout the recent Covid-19 pandemic. While there is cause for optimism with vaccines being rolled out and fewer cases of Covid-19 in recent months, it is very much still in existence and hospital staff continue to work exceptionally hard.

Stanmore College is keen to support the community wherever possible and set a good example for students. One such way of making a difference and supporting the local hospital saw the College deliver a range of goods to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore on Wednesday, 14th April.

College representatives were welcomed by RNOH nurse, Nisha, and a hospital receptionist, Maggie. Tea, coffee, biscuits and other supplies for badly needed breaks to replenish hospital staff energies were donated in addition to PPE including face shields and gloves.

The College has previously donated similar items to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital during lockdown in an effort to give practical assistance as required and it is keen to support those who help society such as the NHS.
