Course Content
The aim of the qualification is to develop learner understanding and skills in the inter-related mathematical process skills of representing, analysing, interpreting, using numbers, geometry and statistics within funtional contexts.
Course Outcomes
Representing; understanding practical problems in familiar and unfamiliar contexts and situations, some of which are non-routine. Identify and obtain necessary information to tackle problems. Selects mathematics in an organised way to find solutions.
Analysing; mathematics in an organised way to find solutions to straightforward practical problems for different purposes, use appropriate checking procedures at each stage.
Interpreting; interpret and communicate solutions to practical problems, drawing simple conclusions and giving explanations.

Grade 2(F) in Maths GCSE
Assessment
An external examination lasting 1 hour 30 minutes.
