Course Content
ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages. Improving your English can help you get more out of life in the UK. These courses will help you increase your independence, as well as develop the language skills you need for everyday life, employment and further studies.
You will have exams and gain a recognised qualification from the English Speaking Board (ESB).
Please note 90% attendance or better is required.
Course Outcomes
ESOL level 2 is aimed at learners who have very good literacy knowledge or experience in English. You will extend your use of reading, writing, speaking and listening in English. You will be taught the use of grammar and how to improve your use of tenses. You will be given the opportunity to read a wide range of texts, make presentations, take part in discussions and write formal reports and letters.

Before you can enrol on an ESOL course you need to attend an assessment to determine your level. Your level of English will be determined by a reading and writing assessment and an interview. You need to book an appointment by calling reception on 020 8420 7700.
