Course Content

This Project Management Apprenticeship will cover the theory, skills, and behaviours of project management. The programme includes time to understand the theory of structured project management and apply it to real project situations. Typically this apprenticeship will take 24 months to complete.

Course Outcomes

Level 4 Associate Project Manager qualification.


This Apprenticeship standard develops the competencies defined by the APM. This means it integrates with an overall career development roadmap potentially leading ultimately to Registered Project Professional.

Entry Requirements

A Level 3 qualification and English and Maths GCSE Grade 4/C or above.


An Assessor will arrange to meet with you at your place of work and support you in compiling a portfolio of evidence. This will ensure that you can evidence the right skills to do the job well. This evidence can include direct observations, personal reports, witness testimonies and products created naturally through the job role. There will also be an element of learning in the classroom and an End Point Assessment based on your portfolio and a discussion with an independent assessor.
