Stanmore College are looking to appoint an Infrastructure Manager to work in its busy Technical Services team. The College is increasingly dependent on its IT systems working properly and efficiently and is looking for a candidate who has a keen interest in IT systems, an excellent track record of working with and maintaining a range of IT systems and is good at managing their time in the face of changing priorities.

Who are we looking for?

Applicants will have experience of working within a help desk environment and sound demonstrable knowledge of working within the Microsoft Windows ecosystem, maintaining server infrastructure, configuring and working with network devices, as well as experience of supporting end users with desktop applications. The successful candidate will have experience of troubleshooting and resolving a spectrum of second/third line issues in both a hardware and software context and have experience of being a point of escalation for more technical issues. Experience in the Office365 Suite of applications, MECM, Windows Server (2016-2022), PowerShell, Azure, Intune and backup methodology are beneficial. Training will be available to the appointed candidate.



Salary: £38,982 – £42,059

The Role:



As Teaching and E-learning Specialist (TLS) you will play a key role in enhancing the educational experience by improving teaching practices, learning outcomes, and overall instructional quality, with particular focus on digital technologies and innovation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that educators are well-supported and equipped with the right tools, strategies, and knowledge to deliver effective learning experiences.
